 Mock Employment Tribunal

A mock tribunal is a simulated hearing that mirrors the structure, language, and procedures of a real employment tribunal. It provides a safe and structured environment to explore how employment law is applied in practice, how evidence is presented, and how decisions are made.

This session is not about legal perfection, it’s about learning through experience. Whether you’re representing the employer, the employee, or observing the process, you’ll gain valuable insights into the dynamics of tribunal proceedings and the importance of preparation, communication, and procedural fairness.

What to Expect

The mock tribunal has been designed to:
  • Bridge the gap between theory and practice in employment law.
  • Build confidence in handling workplace disputes and legal processes.
  • Encourage critical thinking about fairness, evidence, and decision-making.
  • Highlight to managers that their previous actions and decisions can have legal consequences many months later at the tribunal hearing.
